Getting married in the U.S. more than 8 hours from Virginia Beach? Curb costs with a flat $600 additional travel fee. Custom quotes are available for international destinations!
I require a signed contract and $1000 non-refundable retainer for weddings, and a 50% retainer for engagement sessions to officially reserve your date on my calendar. I only take on 25 weddings and 10 engagement sessions a year, and I handle inquiries on a first-to-book basis, so if you’re ready to inquire, don’t wait!
You'll receive sneak peeks within 48-72 hours, and your full gallery within 8-10 weeks!
3. Do you offer engagement sessions along with wedding photography packages ?
3. Do you also offer engagement sessions packages ?
Yes! All wedding photography packages include a complimentary engagement session you can choose to use or not (although I highly recommend it). Not utilizing the engagement session will not reduce the price of the wedding photography package. It's my gift to you!
You will receive a minimum of 150 edited photos for engagement sessions and a minimum of 400-900 edited photos for weddings. I shoot THOUSANDS of photos during engagement sessions and weddings to make sure that I can tell a solid story and preserve each incredible moment. My personal philosophy is, "if it turned out well and I would want to see it, I send it!"
I do not give out the RAW photos because they are very large files, so you will receive your images in JPEG format delivered via an online gallery.
5. Are you available for destination weddings, and how do you handle travel and accommodation?
5. Are you available for destination weddings ?
Yes! I'm a destination wedding photographer based in Virginia and I love to travel! I already have my bags packed and ready to go. Depending on your package, I include travel for up to 8 hours from Virginia Beach. Looking to tie the knot father than 8 hours away? I've got you covered. Travel in the U.S. beyond my 8 hour radius is a flat fee of $600 or all inclusive with my top package. International travel is available for a custom flat fee as well!
For engagement sessions, I include up to a 4 hour driving distance, but am more than willing to quote you on travel for locations that are farther away.
We cannot speak highly enough of Jess as both a photographer and person to have by your side on wedding day. Not only did Jess take absolutely stunning photos that perfectly captured the Christmas/New Years big city winter wedding vibe that we were going for, but she was also an absolute joy to have by our sides on wedding day. She is professional, talented, and made taking photos so fun all weekend long. Going into the weekend we were a bit nervous that we may feel some photo fatigue, but we had the absolute best time taking photos with Jess and she contributed to some of the highlights of our wedding day. Not to mention that our jaws literally dropped when we received our rehearsal dinner and wedding day photos. Our only regret was not having her stay to shoot our farewell brunch as well. We loved working with Jess and hope to have an excuse to hire her again soon!
